Corcoran Ball : Phase Two
The patron sits firmly on the very marble foundation that supports the walls of the museum institution.
is the work of the patron equal to the work of the artist?
are the patrons themselves involved in a long running performance art piece?
-is the ball itself a performance art piece?

I'm still unsure of the first question. I might answer it later. For the latter questions, I've always felt an integral part of performance art is the audience (if not all art in general). One major question would be if its the audience, or the artist that determines something to be a performance? I feel as though you've positioned yourself as the audience by taking the picture, which might then put it into the realm of performance. Once again though, its more quesions than answers. I might expand on this later when I have more time.
Are you a jerkface?
